Tuface Idibia is determined to ensure that no one takes his wife, Annie, away from him.

Nigerian music icon, Tuface Idibia, has subtly conveyed his apprehension about the possibility of losing his wife, Annie. The renowned singer, also known as 2baba, took to his official Instagram account to share a video of Annie engaged in her daily activities, interacting with people and giving out hugs.

Although the visuals depicted Annie’s interactions, the audio carried the weight of Tuface’s emotions. He openly expressed his fear of someone else capturing Annie’s attention, confessing his jealousy and his desire to protect their bond. The voiceover revealed his sentiment, “I get jealous when someone else has your attention. It’s not as if I’m needy or insecure, I just don’t want someone else to realize how amazing you are and for them to steal you away from me. I just really do not want to lose you to someone else, you mean too much to me for that to happen.”

The video sparked a range of reactions from online commenters, given the complex nature of Tuface and Annie’s relationship. Their marriage has faced scrutiny due to several cheating scandals that have come to light over the years on his part. Tuface has fathered children with two other women, Sumbo Adeoye and Pero Adeniyi, outside his marriage to Annie Macauley (now Idibia), making a total of seven children.

Annie herself expressed her heartache over being the first of the three women to meet Tuface, yet her child with him became his fifth in total. She shared this during an episode of the Netflix reality show, “Young, Famous and African.”

Despite the challenges they have encountered, the couple’s bond remains strong, and Tuface emphasized that they should not be seen as “couple goals.”
