Tinubu, Shettima Appeal Upheld: “Tinubu and Shettima jointly urge the Election Tribunal to uphold the presidential poll conducted in February.”

  • Post category:Politics

President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima have fervently implored the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal not to invalidate the outcomes of the presidential election held on February 25. Their plea comes as a response to a petition filed by the Labour Party (LP) and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Lead counsel Wole Olanipekun, representing Tinubu and Shettima, delivered a concluding statement emphasizing the petition’s lack of merit and substance in both arguments and witness testimonies, which they deemed “frivolous, bogus, and reliant on hearsay.”
