Tinubu: A genuine politician within the confines of Aso Rock.

Since President Bola Tinubu assumed office, Nigeria’s seat of government, the Aso Villa, has been receiving numerous visitors. Comparisons have been drawn between Tinubu and the late Umaru Yar’Adua, whom many consider the first true politician to occupy Aso Rock. Observers note Tinubu’s detribalized leadership style and his commitment to policies that prioritize the nation’s interests over ethnic considerations. They also praise the presence of a strong team of technocrats and loyalists guiding Tinubu’s actions, emphasizing the need for experienced individuals in key sectors.

While some caution that it is too early to judge the success of Tinubu’s administration and urge patience until the formation of the cabinet and resolution of election petitions, others are optimistic about his early performance.
