“Joyce Ogochukwu Nsaka, Nigeria’s youngest female presidential aspirant in the 2023 general election, who ran under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has expressed strong disapproval of the Federal Government’s policies, stating that they have pushed people into poverty. She particularly highlighted the increased hardships resulting from the removal of fuel subsidies and called on Tinubu to alleviate hunger and suffering among Nigerians. During an interview on September 6, 2023, in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, Nsaka outlined her vision for a comprehensive overhaul of the country to stimulate socio-economic development. She advocated for eradicating the presence of recycled, unpatriotic, selfish, and corrupt politicians and leaders from governance. Additionally, Nsaka suggested changing Nigeria’s name to “United African Empire” as a fundamental step in addressing the country’s deep-rooted issues. She further emphasized the need to reevaluate Nigeria’s historical foundation, questioning the authenticity of the independence claimed in 1960 and scrutinizing the leaders of that era.”
