“Sporting Lagos is on the brink of finalizing the construction of their stadium. The recently promoted team in the Nigeria Professional Football League is in the process of erecting a stadium in Lagos.

The stadium is situated within the premises of Landmark in Victoria Island.

Oluwayemisi Cole, the team manager of Sporting Lagos, revealed that the stadium will be completed before the commencement of the 2024-25 NPFL season.

“We’re in the process of constructing our own stadium in Victoria Island.

“With optimism, we anticipate the stadium’s completion prior to the start of the 2024-25 NPFL season,” she conveyed to DAILY POST in Ikenne during the ValueJet pre-season tournament.”

For the upcoming season, Sporting Lagos has temporarily adopted the Mobolaji Johnson Arena as their home venue.

The club secured promotion to the NPFL following their performance in the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoffs in Asaba last month.”
