Former Big Brother Naija star, Somadina Anyama, known as Soma, has revealed that some of his fellow housemates advised him against dating Angel. Despite hearing various opinions about his relationship with Angel, Soma made it clear that he was not concerned about what people had to say.
Soma and Angel were guests on the To Be Honest Podcast, where they discussed their budding relationship. During the podcast, Soma mentioned that while they were in the Big Brother house, some people, including Cross, advised him to end his relationship with Angel for various reasons. However, Soma dismissed their advice, emphasizing that he didn’t care.
He said, “People often came to me and said, ‘Soma, you should leave this girl. This girl, she is…’ And most of the time, I’m like, ‘Bro, I don’t care.’ I know that several different housemates have come to tell me, ‘Ah! Soma, take it easy with Angel. You know Angel can…’ I’m like, ‘Guy, I don’t care.’ Cross was one of them.”
Angel interrupted, expressing her confusion about why people were so against their relationship, especially since they didn’t know her well.
She added, “And I don’t understand the gossip. They don’t really know me. Of all the people in Biggie’s house, the only person I can say knows me well is Mercy because we have an existing relationship. Maybe Frodd as well. But the others don’t really know me. Even Cross doesn’t know me that well. He doesn’t know me at all.”
Since their eviction from the recently concluded All Stars show, the couple has been defending the authenticity of their relationship. In a previous interview, Soma emphasized that their love is genuine and not a strategy to win the show. Angel also mentioned that they are taking things slowly and enjoying each other’s company.
