Controversial Nigerian artist, Habeeb Okikiola, professionally known as Portable, engaged in a heated dispute with his show promoter in Italy over finances. In a widely circulated video, Portable expressed his frustration at the promoter for taking the money that was sprayed on him during his performance.
In a passionate outburst in pidgin English, a visibly agitated Portable also issued threats, exclaiming, “This man is dishonest, a worthless individual. He took all the money sprayed on me in Italy. Sir, I will confront you right here in Italy. I come from the streets of Lagos. I will confront your father, and nothing will stop me.”
In response, the promoter boasted that the money Portable received during his performance rightfully belonged to him, stating, “The money they sprayed on you belongs to me, and the money they put in your pocket is your own.”
