“Phyna, the winner of the ‘Level Up’ season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has been crowned as the Female Celebrity of the Year, despite an ongoing family dispute.
The 26-year-old reality TV star was honored with the ‘Celebrity of the Year’ title at the recently concluded La Mode Green October event.
This achievement comes amidst the ongoing disagreement between Phyna and her family, stemming from allegations of abandonment. Last week, New Telegraph reported that Phyna’s father, in a recent interview, accused her of neglecting her family after winning the N100 million grand prize in the 2022 BBNaija ‘Level Up’ edition.
Nevertheless, Phyna took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to celebrate her win, expressing that one’s true strength often becomes apparent when it becomes the only option. She wrote: “You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice. NAT – Celebrity of the Year.”
