Nigerian hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, recently expressed his opinion on the current rankings of top Afrobeats artists. In a featured appearance on London’s 90 podcast, the artist behind ‘Declan Rice’ asserted that, based on present activity, Burna Boy stands at the forefront of the list.
He went on to place Davido in the second position, following Burna Boy, but he did not include Wizkid in the top 5 rankings, citing a lack of current activity. According to Odumodublvck, the top 5 comprises Tems, Asake, Rema, and he also gave Wizkid an honorable mention, acknowledging his legendary status in the industry.
During the interview, Odumodublvck revealed that he started using marijuana at the age of 10, stating, “I’ve been smoking weed every day since I was 10 years old. The only time I don’t smoke is when I’m sick.”
