Nigerian Breweries raises product prices

Nigerian Breweries Plc has announced that there will be a change in the prices of some of its stock-keeping units (SKUs) starting from August 10.

In a letter dated August 1, 2023, titled ‘Price review notification’ and signed by the Sales Director, Ayo Lawal, the company stated that the price review had become necessary due to the continuous rise in input costs and the need to mitigate its impact.

The letter stated, “This is to inform you that we will review the prices of some of our SKUs effective Thursday, August 10, 2023. This review has become necessary because of the continued rising input cost and the need to mitigate the impact.”

The company expressed its appreciation for the partnership and commitment of its customers and assured them that all open orders fully funded and created in their system before 00.00hrs on Thursday, August 10, 2023, would be delivered at the current prices.

The letter also emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting its customers’ sales and distribution efforts. Customers were advised to contact their Regional Business Manager for further clarification.

Nigerian Breweries Plc is known for producing beer brands such as “Star lager beer; Gulder lager beer; Maltina; Legend Extra Stout; Amstel Malta; Heineken lager beer; Maltina Sip-it; Fayrouz, a non-alcoholic soft drink; Climax, a herbal energy drink; Goldberg lager; Malta Gold; Life Continental lager; Ace Passion, among others.”
