My administration will tackle security challenges – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu stated on Saturday that his administration would prioritize enhancing the operational capabilities of security and law enforcement agencies while also improving the welfare of their personnel. This commitment is part of the renewed effort to address security concerns across the country.

Represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, the President conveyed this assurance during the Passing Out Parade of the 5th Regular Course of the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil, Kano.

He emphasized, “This administration is dedicated to implementing effective strategies to combat security challenges in Nigeria, and our collaboration is the most reliable path to achieving that goal. Our approach focuses on several key aspects.”

“Firstly,” he explained, “we are investing in our law enforcement agencies to enhance their effectiveness and capabilities. We’re providing additional resources, training, and equipment to strengthen both our Police Force and Security Agencies.”

President Tinubu continued, “Simultaneously, we are improving our intelligence systems on both national and international levels, understanding that addressing security challenges requires collaborative efforts with other nations. Consequently, we’re establishing alliances to effectively address transnational threats.”

He added, “Furthermore, we are implementing comprehensive social programs and economic development projects aimed at promoting inclusivity, social unity, and economic opportunities for all.”

The President also commended the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies for their ongoing efforts, stating, “Our moral obligation now is to support the Nigeria Police Force and other security organizations in intensifying their efforts to enhance public safety.”
