Idowu Philips, widely recognized as Mama Rainbow in Nollywood, has expressed her distress after falling victim to deception in London.
The veteran actress posted a video online where she was urinating in an open area when a man in a uniform approached her.
The uniformed individual informed her that her action was against the law and that she could face imprisonment as a consequence.
He mentioned that his fellow officers at the police station were observing her through CCTV, leading to her being detained.
Mama Rainbow, feeling anxious, pleaded for forgiveness and explained how urgent her need was, which compelled her behavior.
The officer persisted, suggesting that she pay 1000 pounds or accompany him to the police station. However, the experienced actress implored him to accept whatever amount she had.
“You are arrested, let’s go to the station.
You aren’t supposed to do that here, this is England you need to be arrested. Let’s go to the police station. I am doing my job, we have been looking at you from the camera, and now you have been arrested.
You are to pay 1,000 pounds for doing this. Pay 1,000 pounds or let’s go”, he said.
Mama Rainbow replied, “Please take anything I give you. I don’t have that amount”.
Crying out, Mama Rainbow revealed that she has been duped by the policeman.
“Have been duped oooo oooo”.
