Liverpool reach personal terms with Osimhen

According to the UK tabloid paisleygates, Liverpool, a Premier League club, has reached an agreement on personal terms with Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian international, in preparation for a transfer move in the upcoming season.

Liverpool has been pursuing Osimhen for a while, and the latest reports suggest that they have agreed on the terms of a contract to sign the Nigerian player from Napoli.

Valter De Maggio reported that the African striker chose not to extend his contract with the Italian champions and has decided to join Liverpool. He stated, “The president refers to a meeting that took place in Castel di Sangro. The parties had reached an agreement for the renewal, but then Calenda and Osimhen went back on their word.”

“What happened? There was the involvement of another club, a Premier League club. I’m talking about Liverpool. There have been frequent contacts, but I just found out something else: agreements have already been reached. Let me clarify: the agreements are between the Reds and the player, so they do not involve Napoli.”

Osimhen was the recipient of the Paolo Rossi award in the previous season and scored 31 goals in all competitions for Napoli. However, he has a relatively low weekly salary of £75,000.

After a fantastic season, the Serie A champions initially valued him at around £154 million during the summer transfer window, but his price has now decreased.

According to a report from Calcio Mercato, the club’s president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, hopes to receive a transfer fee of around £87 million for the sale of their prized asset.

The 24-year-old has scored 20 goals in 27 appearances for the Nigerian national team and is considered one of the top goal-scorers in the sport at the moment.
