Iyabo Ojo is advising Nigerians to exercise patience while awaiting the autopsy findings for Mohbad.

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has called upon Nigerians to exercise patience as they await the results of the recently completed autopsy for Mohbad. Through her Instagram Live session, the prominent figure reminded Nigerians to remain focused on the primary goal, which is seeking justice for the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad. She emphasized that the Nigerian police have requested a two-week period for the release of the autopsy findings and urged people to be patient during this time.

She stated, “All eyes are on this case, and they have asked for two weeks. I understand that not all the results may be available by then, but they have requested two weeks, and they are actively working on it. We need to exercise patience and await the autopsy results and the subsequent police briefing. Let’s avoid distractions; it won’t deter us from achieving justice. We will get justice. Please allow the police to do their job. If the suspects do not cooperate with questioning, the police will take the necessary actions.”

Furthermore, she appealed to eager fans to stay focused on the matter and refrain from demanding a paternity test for Mohbad’s five-month-old son, Liam. Ojo passionately defended the singer’s widow, Omowunmi, and urged everyone to respect her grieving process and cease requests for a DNA test.

She added, “All these distractions regarding DNA tests or no DNA tests, please allow the family to mourn. If Mohbad’s parents want a DNA test for the son, they can request it. Why are you all pressuring the grieving lady? Leave her alone.”

Since the sudden demise of the singer, Ojo has been a staunch advocate for justice, particularly due to the mysterious circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death and the various attacks he endured while alive. In response to the public’s persistent demand for an investigation into these circumstances, the police initiated an official inquiry, which included the exhumation of Mohbad’s body and the subsequent autopsy.
