According to reports from Giornale dello Sport, Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus have expressed interest in signing Nigerian international Ademola Lookman. They are reportedly preparing offers for the Atalanta forward in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Ademola Lookman joined Inter Milan from RB Leipzig last year in a deal worth €9 million plus performance-related bonuses. This move followed his loan spell with Leicester City during the 2021/22 season.
During his Premier League career, the 25-year-old contributed to 18 goals in 98 appearances, playing for Everton, Fulham, and Leicester. While on loan with Leicester City from Leipzig, he scored six goals in 26 top-flight matches, which garnered the attention of Atalanta scouts and led to his move to Serie A.
Lookman had an impressive debut season in Serie A, contributing to 23 goals (15 goals and eight assists) in 33 appearances in all competitions for Atalanta. This outstanding performance has now attracted interest from other Italian clubs, with Inter and Juventus reportedly considering a move for the winger.
According to reports from Mercaro, both Inter and Juventus have shown interest in Ademola Lookman and are contemplating making offers during the summer transfer window. The report mentions that Lookman’s value is currently estimated at €30 million, making him the second most valuable player in the Atalanta squad, after Giorgio Scalvini, who is valued at €40 million.
