“IPOB circulates flyers declaring the cancellation of the sit-at-home event.”

“The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has initiated the distribution of flyers and posters throughout the South-Eastern region to notify residents of the cancellation of the sit-at-home initiative.

The pro-Biafran group has conveyed that this move is intended to communicate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s declaration of the discontinuation of the Monday sit-at-home practice. The aim is to emphasize that the sit-at-home approach is not only ineffective but will never again be employed as a means of civil disobedience in their pursuit of self-determination.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the group’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, stated, “Any individual discussing a non-existent sit-at-home within Biafraland is considered an adversary of the people and will face appropriate consequences.”

Powerful clarified that the directive to disseminate the flyers manually and display posters was authorized by IPOB’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu. The statement continued, “We are informing Biafrans about the distribution of flyers and posters throughout the South-East, conveying our leader’s well-known pronouncement canceling the Monday sit-at-home. This is to communicate to the good people of Biafra that the sit-at-home approach is not only defunct but will never again be utilized as a method of civil disobedience in our quest for self-determination.

“It is essential to reiterate, for those who may pretend ignorance of the regulations governing the behavior expected from the IPOB family worldwide, that our supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has issued a permanent termination of the Monday sit-at-home in Biafraland, and anyone found enforcing this unauthorized and non-existent Monday sit-at-home will be apprehended and promptly dealt with on the spot.”

“These criminal elements are not aligned with the goal of restoring Biafra or securing the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is being unlawfully held in solitary confinement by the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja, Nigeria.

The individuals claiming to lead a Biafra Government in Exile group from a location in Finland, also known as Autopilot, are not members of IPOB, and their actions do not represent the opinions of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the broader membership of IPOB, nor the operatives of the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Furthermore, it is deeply disheartening that individuals who have never actively led street protests in support of Biafra restoration within Biafraland or anywhere globally would presume to lead our people. This is a complete disgrace.

The group emphasized that the Biafran struggle championed by IPOB has no government in exile, and will never establish any such government.

“Anyone foolish enough to associate with this fraudulent social media scam called ‘Government in exile’ (Autopilot) does so at their own risk and should not link Mazi Nnamdi Kanu or IPOB to it.

Biafraland belongs to Biafrans, and it is the duty of all Biafrans to safeguard the land from government-sponsored agents and armed criminal groups misusing the respected names of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and Biafra.

We encourage Biafrans to assist in distributing the flyers and posters throughout communities, rural areas, and cities in Biafraland, symbolizing a requiem mass for the senseless Monday sit-at-home.

Anyone caught enforcing any sit-at-home action is in trouble. The criminal based in Finland won’t protect you,” the group concluded.”
