“The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has instructed the Lagos Commissioner of Police to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the passing of the singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
In a statement released by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, on Thursday, it was conveyed that the Lagos CP has been tasked with uncovering the details surrounding Mohbad’s demise.
“We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and fans of the late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, who tragically departed recently. We acknowledge the concerns and speculations surrounding his untimely death,” Adejobi stated.
“The Nigeria Police Force is committed to conducting a thorough investigation into this matter, and the Lagos State Commissioner of Police has been entrusted with the responsibility of unraveling the circumstances surrounding his demise. We will provide updates as the investigation progresses,” he added.
Adejobi urged family members and close associates with pertinent information to cooperate with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police in this endeavor.
“In the interim, we kindly request that individuals refrain from making statements or engaging in activities that could hinder the ongoing investigation. Your trust and support are greatly appreciated,” he concluded.”
