“I have honored my commitment,” stated a Nigerian man as he provided evidence of a ₦1.5 million payment towards Mr. Ibu’s medical expenses.

A Nigerian individual who goes by the name Asian Big Name has shared a receipt on his Facebook page, displaying a transfer of ₦1.5 million to the bank account of Nigerian actor John Okafor, widely recognized as Mr. Ibu, for his medical expenses.

This act follows Mr. Ibu’s appeal for financial aid from his fans and compassionate Nigerians to cover his medical costs, as he recently communicated from his hospital bed. Despite claims that notable figures have already covered his medical bills, there is no concrete proof to support these assertions.

Amidst this situation, Asian Big Name, a Nigerian on Facebook, disclosed that he had contributed ₦1.5 million toward Mr. Ibu’s medical treatment. He conveyed his commitment on his social media platform:

“I, Asian Big Name, have upheld my promise to our icon, Mr. John Okafor A.K.A. Mr. Ibu.”

“To our beloved Mr. Ibu, nothing untoward shall befall you. The joy and laughter you’ve brought into our lives, from my early days to the present, continue to brighten our days.”

“We have faith that our ancestors’ deities will safeguard you. Whether your health challenges result from a person, a woman, or any individual, one thing remains certain: you will emerge stronger and relish the rewards of your hard work.”

“You will prove your adversaries wrong, and those accountable for your ailment will face the consequences.”

“Once again, I, the CEO of ASIABIGNAME and our group, wish you a speedy recovery. We stand by your side, dear father.”
