Singer-Songwriter Brymo recently disclosed his controversial approach to collaborations, admitting that he had tried to engage in sexual relationships with female artists in exchange for working together. This revelation is just one of the many polarizing actions that have drawn both attention and criticism to Brymo, causing rifts with colleagues, fans, and social media users.

The latest incident occurred when a fan suggested that Brymo should have been included on Adekunle Gold’s album. In response, Brymo shared that Adekunle Gold had previously approached him for collaboration, which didn’t materialize. He also revealed that he once approached Simi with a similar proposition, where he suggested intimacy as a precondition for their collaboration, believing it would intensify the creative process.

Feeling remorseful for his past actions, Brymo clarified that he did not intend to demand sex but was driven by a desire to share a musical experience with female artists he was involved with romantically. However, seeing Simi and Adekunle Gold together prompted him to back off from his initial approach.

Adekunle Gold, in response, cautioned Brymo about disrespecting his wife and family and advised him to seek help. Twitter users, in general, criticized Brymo’s disclosure, highlighting it as a concerning example of the issue of men in the industry pressuring female artists for sexual favors in exchange for collaborations and other opportunities.
