Princess Onyejekwe, the evicted participant from Big Brother Naija All Stars, has urged her supporters to raise a petition against the reality show’s organizers in response to her eviction.
In the latest season of the show, Princess was the first housemate to be evicted, following a unanimous decision by the eviction jury comprising Bisola Aiyeola, Dorathy Bachor, and Mike Edwards. This decision was based on the judges’ duty to vote out one of the three least popular contestants, as determined by fans’ votes. Among the bottom three contestants – Ike (1.59%), Princess (1.54%), and Seyi (0.89%) – the jury unanimously chose to evict Princess.
During an interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Princess expressed her disappointment for her fans, who had shown their support through their votes. Despite having received nearly double the votes of the least voted contestant, she felt that she was unfairly evicted by the jury.
Princess appealed to her fans to take action and address the situation by submitting a petition to the reality show’s organizers.
She stated, “I feel bad for my fans because they are the ones that took their time to vote but the votes didn’t reflect because of the [eviction] jury. So, they are the ones to protest. They should create a page and write a petition to Big Brother [organizers]. As for me, I will remain at home; I have tried my best.”
