“A nursing graduate was discovered deceased in Ibadan, with certain body parts missing.”

“Apprehension swept through various parts of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, on Friday when the lifeless body of a young nurse was discovered without her womb, following what was purportedly a night outing.

The nurse, known as Omoniyi Boluwatife, was found deceased, and law enforcement personnel carried out the evacuation of her body.

Reports indicate that Boluwatife, a graduate of Lead City University, had recently been inducted into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria on Tuesday.

Allegedly, she had gone out to celebrate her induction into the nursing profession at a nightclub on Tuesday night before her lifeless body was subsequently found.

In a viral video, the remains of Boluwatife were seen on the floor.

A source, requesting anonymity, shared with PUNCH Metro that just before the incident occurred, Boluwatife had accompanied her mother to the motor park upon her arrival from Port Harcourt, where she had traveled to join in the celebration.

The source added, “Boluwatife was a member of my church. In fact, she gave testimony about her graduation last week Sunday after she cleared the carry-over course delaying her graduation. She was a gentle person, and hearing the news of her death broke me.”

In response to the news of her passing, the club she reportedly visited, Copacapana, refuted the occurrence happening within its premises, asserting that its management should not be held accountable for events that transpired outside its establishment.

In a press statement released on Friday, they stated, “It saddens our heart to hear about the tragic event that happened to some customers after leaving our facility. However, as a nightclub, we cannot take responsibility for incidents that occur outside our premises, although our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.”

Meanwhile, attempts to contact the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Adewale Osifeso, proved fruitless as calls and messages to his mobile telephone went unanswered as of press time.

City Round discovered that the incident sparked apprehension among the populace in the state and beyond, as many pondered what could have transpired leading to the demise of the young nurse. Others mourned her sudden passing, lamenting that it tragically cut short her endeavors.”
