The 2023 conference organized by the Association of Energy Correspondents in Nigeria (NAEC) will feature prominent stakeholders in the energy sector, including the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo. They will be joined by other notable figures such as Gabriel Tanimu Aduda, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Engr. Gbanga Komolafe, CEO of Nigeria Upstream Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), and Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
This conference aims to address the challenges facing the energy sector in Nigeria and explore opportunities within the industry. Participants, including industry leaders, expert speakers, regulators, lawmakers, and other stakeholders, will share insights and discuss ways to attract investments into Nigeria’s energy sector.
The theme of the conference is “Nigeria’s Energy Transition: Enhancing Investment Opportunities & Addressing Challenges in Oil and Gas Sector.” It will serve as a platform for discussions on Nigeria’s energy transition plan set for 2060, with a focus on investments, policies, and execution to achieve this transition.
The keynote address will be delivered by Mele Kyari, CEO of NNPCL, and the conference chairman will be Audrey Ezeigbo, MD and CEO of Falcon Corporation.
