The negative comments on social media can be painful, sometimes resembling an act of terrorism – Tuface.

Renowned Nigerian artist Innocent Idibia, widely known as Tuface or 2baba, has a message aimed at social media trolls and critics. During a conversation with Adesope on the Afrobeats Podcast, the entertainer addressed the harsh demeanor of individuals on social media, describing their comments as deeply hurtful. He acknowledged being fully aware of the negative remarks directed towards him and his family online, likening these acts of trolling to a form of terrorism against innocent individuals.

Tuface remarked, “I’ve encountered a lot of criticisms. People have consistently criticized me on social media. At times, their words are painful. Occasionally, people will use social media to say hurtful things. It’s similar to terrorists causing harm to innocent people.”

The father of seven highlighted that despite facing constant criticism, none of his critics had stepped forward to assist in paying for his children’s education. He emphasized that trolls often comment without comprehending that he raises his children in his own way, and there isn’t a universal guide to parenting.

He stated, “It makes me wonder how, up until today, none of these critics who appear so concerned about my family have offered to help with my children’s school fees. Not one person has extended a helping hand. Many individuals discuss parenting, fatherhood, motherhood, and the whole cycle with a public opinion mindset. Yet, it’s much more profound. Nobody possesses an exact formula for this matter.”

Tuface elaborated on the distinctive relationship he shares with his children, highlighting that he communicates with them as peers. He concluded by urging parents to establish a strong connection with their children.
