I’m Not Under Pressure To Get Married – Chidinma Ekile

When asked if the rumours about her dating Kizz Daniel and Flavour were true, she said “Nah, Nah”

Singer Chidinma Ekile, who is professionally known as Chidinma, has clarified that she is not feeling pressured to marry, despite ongoing rumors connecting her romantically to several prominent figures within the entertainment industry, including Flavour and Kizz Daniel.

During an interview on Channels Television’s program “Rubbin’ Minds,” Chidinma, who is 32 years old, addressed the question of whether she has a special someone she plans to settle down with, to which she replied, “No, not yet.” She conveyed that she is presently not in a relationship and does not feel any external pressure to tie the knot.

Chidinma confidently stated, “No pressure at all, no pressure whatsoever.” She added, “Whenever the time is right, it would happen.”

The singer has consistently faced allegations regarding romantic involvement with Kizz Daniel and Flavour, both prominent figures in the music industry. These rumors were fueled by incidents such as an on-screen kiss with Flavour and shared pictures of the two celebrities.

Chidinma and Kizz Daniel were also seen together as a pair in the 2019 film “Love Me.” However, in response to whether these rumors are accurate, she responded with a definitive “Nah, Nah,” indicating their inaccuracy.

She declined to elaborate on whether she had previously dated either of them, stating, “Oh well, I wouldn’t even wanna talk about that.”

Chidinma explained that she rarely discusses her private life, a choice influenced by her background. She emphasized that she prefers to focus on her work and personal business.

Managing fame and temptation within the music industry, Chidinma finds her strength in staying true to herself. She highlighted that remaining genuine has been her key approach throughout her career, allowing her to avoid the pressure of conforming to others’ expectations.

Chidinma’s rise to fame began in 2010 when she won the third season of “Project Fame West Africa.” She made history as the first female musician to reach the number 1 spot on the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart with her “Emi Ni Baller” single’s music video release.

Over the past decade, her musical journey has been characterized by successful hits. She transitioned from secular music to gospel music, as revealed on her Instagram in May 2021, and has since become engaged in Christian ministry. This transition underscores her evolution as a reality show star into an enduring musical figure.
