“During the RCCG convention, 66 babies were born as Pastor Adeboye prayed for peace, averting war.”

“Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, called upon Christians, particularly his church members, to pray against new conflicts both within and beyond the nation’s borders. Adeboye delivered this message during the church’s 71st Annual Convention Friday Holy Ghost Service, held from Friday night to Saturday morning at the church’s headquarters in Mowe, Ogun State.

During the ‘Beyond Expectations’ themed program, which began on August 7 and ends today (August 13), the clergyman expressed concern about the existing “wars” such as kidnapping, terrorism, and killings within the country and urged for prayers against any further escalation.

Thousands of worshippers from around the world connected to the service online to hear Adeboye’s words as the annual convention is a significant event for the church. Pastor Adeboye, also known as Daddy GO, led an intense prayer session, saying, “We certainly do not desire more wars, but we want to emerge victorious in the battles we are currently facing, not face new ones, whether within our borders or outside.”

He encouraged all believers to pray, reminding them that God still answers prayers. He urged them not to be discouraged and emphasized that Nigeria still needs a great deal of prayer. Adeboye also emphasized the need to pray against the devil’s activities in Nigeria to prevent the devil from tarnishing God’s name and leading innocent people astray.

During the service, Adeboye announced that 66 babies had been born at the convention ground, consisting of 31 females and 31 males. He also disclosed that next month’s Holy Ghost Service would be dedicated to those seeking the blessing of children, expressing confidence that there would be an abundance of twins, triplets, and more, as God is not limited in His blessings.”
