Skales, the well-known Nigerian singer whose real name is Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, has shared a story of an altercation he had with his fellow artist Kizz Daniel at Timaya’s residence in Lagos. He took responsibility for the incident, attributing it to his intoxicated state at the time.
In a recent interview with Lagos-based Beat 99.9 FM, Skales revealed, “I upset Kizz Daniel, no doubt about that. I was under the influence of alcohol, and a certain situation was unfolding. Kizz Daniel was also involved, and in that state, I uttered some remarks. I was quite furious that particular night. This entire incident occurred at Timaya’s house.”
Due to his intoxicated condition, Skales claimed he was unaware of his actions during the event. The following day carried on as usual. Later on, while visiting Skibii, a sequence of events led to him discovering that Kizz Daniel was upset with him. Consequently, he reached out to Kizz Daniel and expressed his apologies, explaining, “I told him, ‘Bro, I can’t recall exactly what I said to you. But I truly regret it, and I’m sorry.'”
Skales is confident that any tensions between him and Kizz Daniel have now been resolved.
