COAS felicitates with troops, appreciates sacrifices in combating insecurity

The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, has praised the Nigerian Army for their commitment to combating security challenges across the country.

He said that the Eid-el-Kabir festival is a time to reflect on the sacrifices that the troops make to ensure the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Nigeria.

He also urged the troops to leverage the spirituality of the occasion to pray for the NA, as it strives to combat security challenges in all theatres of operation across the country.

The COAS said that he was confident in the ability of the NA to succeed in its mission, thanks to the zeal and commitment of the troops.

He also thanked the troops for their efforts and sacrifices, and wished them a happy Eid-el-Kabir.
