For the final preparations leading up to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Super Falcons have a camp in Gold Coast, Australia, currently accommodating 21 players. However, winger Francisca Ordega and talented midfielder Halimat Ayinde have yet to join their teammates in camp.

The Super Falcons are staying at the Mecure Hotels, which is located approximately an hour’s drive from Brisbane, their designated training base. Prior to the commencement of the World Cup, Randy Waldrum’s team will participate in friendly matches.

The upcoming competition, co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, is scheduled to take place from July 20 to August 20. In their opening game on July 21, the Super Falcons will face Canada, the defending Olympic champions. Subsequently, they will compete against Australia and the Republic of Ireland in their remaining group stage matches, both held in Brisbane.
