100 days: Tinubu has demonstrated capacity to lead, says Adeyeye

Senator Dayo Adeyeye, the former Minister of State for Works and National Coordinator of the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), a political group that supported President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election, has expressed his confidence in Tinubu’s leadership abilities during his first 100 days in office. Speaking in Osogbo, Osun State, at an event where SWAGA distributed bags of rice to residents to mitigate the effects of fuel subsidy removal, Senator Adeyeye reiterated that Tinubu possesses the qualities needed to lead Nigeria towards a brighter future. He emphasized Tinubu’s commitment to addressing leadership deficiencies in the country and mentioned the positive changes observed in Tinubu’s first 100 days as president.

“In the past 100 days, President Tinubu made the significant decision to halt the payment of fuel subsidies, which had been a large-scale deception perpetrated by the government and had severely impacted Nigeria’s economy. This decision has already yielded positive results and is attracting foreign investors. I am confident that in the coming months, we will witness more positive outcomes from the reforms President Tinubu has implemented.

Regarding SWAGA’s initiative to provide food to the residents of Osun, Ayo Omidiran, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress in the state, explained that SWAGA chose to distribute food items to bring happiness to the people. Importantly, this gesture was not limited to APC or SWAGA members; it extended to individuals who were not affiliated with the party.”
